First, I know I skipped yesterday.
Don’t expect me to apologize. I won’t when I have no control over it.
It will happen from time to time depending on my head and PCS. So, if I don’t post, and it’s not a Sunday, just know it’s probably a bad/wonky head day for me.
It was a difficult day with a migraine, plus it was Paul’s birthday. So despite the pain in my head, I did what I could manage to do, so he’d have a good evening after he got home from work.
Which really just consisted of me running, after a dentist appointment, into Costco quick to grab some supper and a cake because I knew I was not going to be able to make anything from scratch. Then, wrapping the gifts that I had for him and pick up the house for company stopping in to visit with him.
Anyway, he had a good birthday. 🙂
So today, I’m feeling a little back to normal, and I cleaned my toilet.
How often do you clean your toilets?
Some people clean them daily, some once a week. Some people I’m sure, should be cleaning them more often than they do! LOL
Today, we are talking toilet bowl cleaners.
I’m sure most people will be thinking; ‘Gross! Why would we discuss this topic?’
But, it’s obvious, EVERY homeowner who owns a toilet, needs to keep it clean.
If it’s not clean, that is just incredibly disgusting. Especially when you unexpectantly develop a stomach bug and need to rush to the toilet to vomit. NO ONE wants to vomit in a toilet that’s gross and dirty with grime and rings. Bleah!!!
Maybe it’s just me?
For the past several years I’ve been making our own toilet bowl cleaner, and we love it!
This Deodorizing Toilet Bowl cleaner is Septic Safe, 100% Biodegradable, Environment safe, Phosphate Free, Bleach Free, & Synthetic Fragrance Free.
A great option to replace those plastic jugs of watered-down chemical cleaner. Helping keep yet more plastic out of the landfills and oceans.
Very easy to use. Each biodegradable bag contains 15 cubes. Just one cube is needed per cleaning. Drop one cube directly into the toilet bowl water. Allow the cube to completely fizz and dissolve. (This does take like 2 or 3 minutes.) Brush the bowl thoroughly and flush like normal.
Available in Lemon and Lemongrass, which is from pure DoTerra essential oils.
You can follow the link to my Etsy store if you’re interested in ordering a bag to try it for yourself.
Keep in mind. I do make this myself, in small batches. So it is limited quantities until I can get more made.
I just hope y’all like it as much as we do.
That’s it. Just introducing my Eco Flush Toilet bowl cleaner. LOL
Since we are on the topic of toilets though, I do need to say, I am SO happy when we had bought this house and remodeled it, we had to buy new toilets. I insisted Paul get solid sided toilets.
I know, they are more of a pain to put in place, but you know what? You only put it into place once. You’re cleaning that toilet countless times during the years you have it.
Cleaning smooth sides is SO much easier than cleaning those ceramic swirls and crevices! SO MUCH EASIER!
So,,, keep that in mind when you need to purchase a toilet. Look for what’s going to be easier to keep it clean and sanitary.
Unless you pay a housecleaner to do this chore for you, then, this is a non-issue. Be nice to your cleaning person. LOL
That’s all I got for today!
Take care of yourself.
*Hugs*
