It is official! Tea Leaf & Tallow LLC made its debut at a craft/Vendor show yesterday for the first time.

I like to think it went pretty well for a brand spankin’ new business that people have never heard of.
I sold approximately $92.50 worth of products.
Not nearly enough to cover what was put into everything as a whole so far, but this is normal. “You have to spend money to make money.”
Is that right?? God, I hope so! LOL
FYI, my mother did even better with her stand. She is a VERY talented artist and sells her paintings at this show every fall. Yesterday she sold four paintings. (Which is great for this small town!) Though,,,, it’s hilarious because she ended up spending most of her profit shopping at the same damn show! L.O.L!

This photo above is part of the newest painting Mom finished just two days before the show. This photo doesn’t look as good as the painting looks in person, trust me. It was also the first painting that sold. I wish I had more photos of her work to share. (Another day.) So proud of my mom.
I was also invited to set up at another Vendor show by a very kind woman. So, there’s that to look forward to. It can only go up from nothing, right!? 🙂
One thing I never even thought of was, Business cards! UGH!
So, next on my To-Do list is order up some Business cards.
Where do y’all get yours? I’ve been told, Vistaprint, Zazzle, even the UPS store I guess makes them. I’ll have to check into it more later.
I don’t want expensive cards on my budget, but I don’t want cheap crap either. I know ‘you get what you pay for’. So, any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
Today, well, today I am making great progress! With the stress of getting stuff ready for the public debut gone, I can focus on the rest of whats been put off around here.
Last night I got six loads of clean laundry finally sorted and put away. Yep, SIX. If I ever win the lottery, I won’t say a word, but there will be signs. Like a cleaning lady to take care of this endless laundry for me! LOL
This morning I already, did chores (Which consists of saying ‘Goodmorning’ to my chicken and duck flocks, giving them all scratch and fresh water & food), pulled up one bed of tomatoes to start the fall cleaning, picked Chocolate Mint leaves and Borage blossoms and got that all in the dehydrator drying.
I also have fresh homemade tomato soup slow cooking down on the stove for grilled cheese and tomato soup for supper tonight.
It feels so great making good progress! I need to enjoy it while I can. While it lasts. HA!
That’s it for today, Mondays suck so why not a short blog too. LOL
Take care of yourself and enjoy the day.
*Hugs*
