That’s what they say right? The “Professionals”? The “Real” crazy people think they’re completely normal. Makes sense I thinks, unless I’m thinking wrong and have it backwards. oops!
Well, today I FEEL crazy. Crazy busy. Crazy tired. Crazy.
It didn’t help that yesterday was a HUGE cognitive over-loaded day that ended with me, an empty house, stress eating a bowl of extra chocolatey ice cream while snuggled up on the couch with the dogs and a movie on the TV. Then, two bites of ice cream in, a MASSIVE migraine started.
I took all of my emergency migraine medication, took my tincture, got my ice packs, and went to bed. Extra early.
I text Paul warning him of the doom he’ll come home to and a warning to NOT wake me up but to please switch out my ice packs when he finally comes to bed later.
He woke me up. He didn’t mean to, but he did. He must have been having some crazy vivid dreams because he was all over the place rolling, and he woke me up. Often. I slept like shit. Grrrrrr
At 2:00 am my migraine started all over again!
I woke Paul up this time, asking for an ice pack and for him to, “For the love of God just let me sleep!”
I got a sleepy “I’m so sorry” back, with my ice pack.
My alarm went off and I HAD to wake up because this morning was Janina’s senior photo session.
(Yes, I know it’s VERY late in the year, but my girl wanted FALL photos so she got fall photos)
Garrett was the biggest sweetheart and did my chicken and duck chores for me while I had a quick smoothy with some more migraine tincture, to keep a returning migraine at bay, and then I got Janina up and going.
We had to meet Nicole, with Memories by Me Photography, at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens at 9:00 am to get started.
Paul took my truck for the youth hunt today, so we took Janina’s Vibe. I much prefer the truck. It’s quieter, safer, and smoother. The Vibe is noisy, bumpy, (not to mention messy from a teenager) and I feel like I’m racing around in a little go-cart. It is fast though and parking is much easier. LOL
The Green Bay Botanical Gardens are so beautiful it has become one of my favorite places to visit. Even though I’ve only gotten there a couple of times in the past few years.
It is JUST as beautiful in early fall! Go check it out if you can, though they are already getting things set up for their “Garden of Lights” Winter display. (Another must see for those who love Christmas lights.)
I must also say that Nicole is one AWESOME photographer. Not only is she fun, lighthearted, super easy to work with, goes with the flow, but her photos always turn out great. She has done our very first family photos when Garrett and Janina were just 3 and 5 years old (My favorite pics of them & one is the cover of my book), Paul’s parents big family photos, my parents 50th anniversary family photos, and now, Janina’s senior photos.
(I am NOT a fan of my photo being taken and tend to avoid it. Nicole knows this, I have been reprimanded a few times. HA!)
I can’t wait to see these photos!
Yet still, as I get totally distracted looking at the beautiful world around me, while Nicoles taking pictures and Janina’s acting (and looking) like some model in a fashion magazine, I still have my brain racing with all I need to get done! UGH! I hate that!
Beef tallow. Lotion. signs or no signs for tomorrow? Feeling nervous for tomorrow. What if I tank!? Print more labels. Make more toilet bowl cleaner. Clean the kitchen. Crap I have to feed these people supper yet! (Crazy I know!)
That and the worry that another migraine will start up.
Which I’m confused as to why it started to begin with. I was JUST at my Neurologic Chiropractor yesterday afternoon and I always feel great the next few days after that.
Then I worry if I did something to knock my Atlas vertebra back out of alignment.
Or maybe, are there storms coming? That will trigger them also. hmmmmm. Maybe I didn’t drink enough water.
This all feels like, crazy. A never-ending battle against something I may never be able to get rid of.
My question to you all today is; Do you ever have moments when you think to yourself, “Am I going crazy?”
I pray I’m not the only one. 🙂
Take care of yourself!
*Hugs*

This building above I fell in love with and all I could think was ‘This would make such an awesome chicken coop!’ LOL (Okay, I might be a little crazy.)

Grab a tea or coffee and tell us what you think.
